Ariston GL2.5/GL4 Thermostat Retrofit Kit (#7738006446)
The Bosch Ariston GL2.5/GL4 Thermostat Retrofit Kit (#7738006446) is a new retrofit kit that is used to replace the now-discontinued Ariston GL2.5/GL4 Thermostat #65105602 (old part #994062).
This Thermostat Replacement Kit essentially converts a legacy Ariston GL2.5 or GL4 into a Bosch Tronic 3000T ES2.5 or ES4, respectively. The case of the legacy Ariston electric mini-tank water heater remains, but all of the internal components, including the thermostat, heating element, anode rod and gasket/screws, are replaced. Several plastic casing parts are included in the Thermostat Retrofit Kit in addition to these internal parts.
This Thermostat Replacement Kit cannot be used for the new "S" Series Ariston heaters (i.e., the Ariston GL2.5S, Ariston GL4S, Ariston Pro Ti GL2.5TiS, Ariston Pro Ti GL4TiS, Bosch Tronic 3000T ES2.5 or Bosch Tronic 3000T ES4). -
